After just 5 visits…!
Mark is the Trainer you will need to help you train your dog to follow your direction and be the best he can be. After just 5 visits, Indy will now sit and wait on his own in any situation. He will also walk with me, not ahead of me. Thank you for helping us help our pet

What a difference training has made….!
Tucker is a good dog, just a little bit hyper at times and would get really excited when company would come over. Mark’s name was given to me by a local pet store and I gave him a call. Literally, after the first session with Mark, we noticed a big difference in Tucker. Each week Mark taught me techniques to use to train Tucker. Tucker now sits, stays, comes, stays down, and listens very well thanks to Mark’s help. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for dog training! Thanks again!

We have a much happier & calmer dog now!!
We are 2nd owners to our dog Tank, who came to us with seperation anxiety. We didn’t have a clue on how to help him overcome this, so, we called Mark and for a very reasonable price and his knowledge, helped us tremendously train our dog. In fact, he helped us train my daughters dog as well, because he came to visit at times. I highly recommend Tuxedo K9 services to anyone who needs to learn how to properly train their dog. Mark is the person to do that and he is wonderful and he is available anytime to answer any questions or concerns. We have a much happier and calmer dog now which makes us a better family for him because now we all understand each other.

With 2 young boys and a puppy, Mark turned our crazy house around!!
I cannot thank Mark enough for his help with our Golden Retriever Daisy. Mark was a great help in turning our crazy house around as we have 2 young boys and a year old retriever. Mark came to our house every Sunday for 6 weeks and with his patience and training techniques turned Daisy into a wonderful part of our family. He took the time to work with all of us including the boys to help train us in training Daisy. Daisy has improved her behavior tremendously and the boys have overcome their fear of her with Mark’s help. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone who is in need of training. We all miss his weekly visits!!!! The McCann Family

Marks suggestions were clear and concise… and they worked, sometime instantly!
We bought Moses spur of the moment. We weren’t really looking for a dog, but he found us. He was bright, loving and a smart little man, none of which comes without challenges because he was smart. I first called Mark over a potty training issue. His suggestions worked instantly! We quickly found out that we needed a bit more assistance in training Moses. We set up time for Mark to come out and EVERY lesson Moses shined! Mark’s suggestions and directions were clear and concise. We were able to get specific training for us and Moses for the particular issues that were going on. Each lesson Moses mastered a trick. Mark’s firm but patient and quiet way had Moses’ attention from the time Mark walked through the door (knowing Mark carried a treat pouch helped). Mark helped us adjust our responses and behavior to get the desired responses from Moses. Mark was always available to help our ‘family’ and help us adjust to each other. We respect Mark for his knowledge and willingness to find and answer for us if he did not know. Mark loves his work and it is evident in how he conducts his business and responds to his clients. We are grateful for all Mark’s help and glad to know he is there should any situation arise in the future.

He took a hard to manage dog and turned him into a well mannered family member…
Mark is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and how to handle them with patience and care. His soft spoken voice begged Dexter’s undivided attention and he could get him to do anything with a simple command – verbally or with a hand gesture. He helped us take Dexter from a hard to manage dog to a well mannered and well behaved dog by teaching us to recognize the good behaviors instead of the bad. As Mark says, “he trains people not dogs”. Mark came to our home and worked with us to set the boundries for Dexter within the environment he would be living. He worked on the things that we felt needed to be done, reviewed what was tried, and then answered questions or helped with problems if we had any. I highly recommend Mark to anyone who is thinking about training their dog.

Mark’s ability to connect with animals is uncanny !!
We adopted Sassy from a lady who was forced to undergo knee replacement surgery and could no longer care for her. She had some emotional issues due to interaction with other dogs. Mark’s kind, caring and supportive instruction benefited Sassy AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, MY FAMILY, more than words could ever describe. Mark is an outstanding human being and his ability to immediately connect with animals is uncanny.

I feel very blessed that we have used him for training…
We rescued a young Newfoundland from Canada and without Mark, I am afraid she would have had to return to her foster home. He answered my anxious call the same day and was here to help much sooner than I expected. Mark was wonderful with her, our older Newfoundland and with us. The wealth of information to help with her transition was invaluable. I was always able to get answers to my questions and I know that he remains only a phone call away, should I ever need his assistance. She has settled in with us and we continue to use the tips that he introduced. I would recommend him to anyone who needs any sort of training with their puppy or dog. I feel very blessed that we have used him for training, and if there are any other dogs in our future, I know who I will call.

…I hit the jackpot! Mark is a true professional.
I met Mark in the Fall of 2011 when I adopted a new terrier. I had not trained a dog in many years and wanted the new dog to get a good start with us. I hit the jackpot! Mark is a true professional. He cares about the dog to be trained and what its place will be in its new family. He has a patient and quiet manner. He is very knowledgeable about various breeds and canine behavior. He worked with me and the new dog in our home, and I plan on continuing my dog’s training with Mark in a class with other dogs soon.
I recently adopted Mongo from the shelter and enrolled him in basic obedience class. Many thanks to Mark for his time, advice and ideas for training/living with a deaf dog. I just can’t say enough about the individualized attention we recieved in class and his willingness to help. Mongo has really come out of his shell and is such an affectionate & well mannered pup!
My cocker spaniels and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Mark. The dogs loved it when he arrived on Thursdays for our lesson. They barked their greetings and wagged their tails. He gave me several training strategies to use with Sammie, my “wild” nine month old puppy as he matures. I was amazed after our first lesson when Sammie would do “sit” and “down” on command.
Jolie, my eight year old cocker, has always had a fear of strange men, but she soon welcomed Mark into the house and even sat on the couch with him for “hugs and kisses”. When I used his suggestions, I was amazed when she willingly went to one of my male friends who had tried for a long time without success to get her to come to him. She also quickly learned the commands Mark was teaching Sammie, and she seemed proud of herself in doing so.
We look forward to a “refresher” course in the spring when Sammie is older. Mark proved you can “… teach an old dog (me) new tricks”. Mark, thanks for your help.
Castle was 14 months old when we adopted him. When he arrived we fell in love with him. I enrolled him in an obedience class – the kind of class I had been through many times in the past with other canine family members. You go to a place with a bunch of other dogs and teach your dog to respond to your commands in an environment that is not real life situations with real life distractions. Castle excelled but it was still the same problem at home. People came to our house and Castle would not listen to me. He would jump and get so excited he would start to give “nips” that would frighten many people and made me realize I had no control. The situation became worst when a delivery man kicked Castle out of fear when he jumped on him. All at once Castle had an aggressive attitude toward anyone coming to the door. We were really frightened. We could not handle our dog who we loved. Because Castle is a pitbull , a breed that is so misunderstood I had many worries. We called a dog trainer that had no experience with pitbulls and it was disastrous with potential danger. We knew her method of training was not for us or Castle. A friend recommended Tuxedo telling us how the trainer Mark practiced positive reinforcement training. After the first conversation with Mark I felt confident he could help us. He immediately conveyed a positiveness that put me at ease. He had lots of experience with pitbulls and shared our belief that kind firmness – positive reinforcement- was the best way to get results. Mark trained Castle and me in real life situations, the park, a visit to the vet, and calmed Castles response to people and MY FEAR of Castle encountering people.
Marked trained both of us! Mark’s deep love for Canines along with his knowledge and expertise in training make him an awesome choice as a trainer. THANK YOU MARK!!! P.S. Castle loves you
This training has been absolutely invaluable. Our Reggie came to us as a scared, unhappy shell of a dog. I thought he’d live under the coffee table for the rest of his life. With Mark’s help, we learned how to help Reggie come out of that shell to be the balanced dog he is today. Although he still has some fear, he is able to be in a crowded room now, he greets people at the door normally, he can go for relaxed walks and he even lets strangers pet and pick him up! It’s been an absolute transformation. One of the things I told Mark in our last session was just how much I think the training was beneficial for us as well. Having a pet that doesn’t know how to love you is hard and Mark gave us the support and encouragement to give Reggie time and training. As a result, Reggie is a gentleman who even knows how to follow some basic commands! Go figure! I’d recommend Mark to anyone with a dog- especially one that is a little afraid of the world. It’s worth every dime to see how happy your dog can be!
Mark is an excellent trainer and very professional. I have a 5 year old Jack Russel Terrier, that is beyond spoiled, she did not like small children or babies. We are expecting our first grandchild and of course I am very concerned about her aggressive behavior. Mark observed Cinnamon with a couple of small children and a baby and was able to identify her issue and work with all of us to help her through. I don’t believe she will ever really like the little ones, but she now understands that she can move away from them and go to a secure place in our home. I would recommend Mark to anyone and every kind of need they have and I do. Thanks so much, we miss seeing you each week.
